Your Partner in Home Buying

Chase Mortgage Lending

The smartest move you’ll make as you dip your toes into house buying is to use a bank that understands the nuances of the process and establishes a relationship with you that lasts after all the forms are signed and house keys are delivered.
And that bank is JPMorgan Chase.

The Flatirons Tour of Homes showcases new and remodeled homes by the finest builders in the metro Denver area. Perhaps you’ve even visited one that you’d like to make your own. If so, keep reading.

It’s not a secret that the Denver housing market has been scorching hot lately. According to a January 15th Denver Post article by Aldo Svaldi, Zillow predicts metro Denver will rank as the country’s ninth hottest real estate market this year, with home prices rising 3.6 percent. Additionally, Clear Capital is calling for a 7.3 percent increase in metro Denver home prices this year, which places Denver second in its rankings after Dallas. Meanwhile, in Boulder, the average cost of a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home has surpassed $1 million.

The numbers can be dizzying, but the mortgage lending process shouldn’t be. The smartest move you’ll make as you dip your toes into house buying is to use a bank that understands the nuances of the process and establishes a relationship with you that lasts after all the forms are signed and house keys are delivered. And that bank is JPMorgan Chase.

So why is Chase preferable to the seemingly countless lenders out there? Well, Chase bankers are experienced homebuyers, too, and understand the experience. “Chase mortgage bankers know that buying a home is a big deal and that it’s an emotional and complex experience,” says Chase senior lending manager Kendee Ruark. “They see the mortgage process as more than just a transaction, and focus on the customer instead of the loan itself.”

Buying a home is no small thing, and Chase mortgage bankers get that. They see you through the homebuying process and then don’t disappear. Long after the ink has dried on the contract, your Chase banker can still assist with a home equity line of credit or refinancing.

“It’s important to find the right kind of home loan that suits your financial goals and that you can afford now and in the long term,” says Ruark. “Customers might be looking for a lower monthly payment, or might be trying to pay their loan off in a certain number of years. Chase can help customize a solution, compare loan types, rates and other options to ensure a loan makes financial sense now and in the future.”

Chase offers a number of different loan products, from jumbo mortgages to home loans that require only a 3% down payment. Chase also offers $500 off closing costs to customers that complete a homebuyer education course on select mortgage products, as well as a homebuyer grant in select geographic locations. Then there is the simplicity of actually connecting with a Chase mortgage banker: In person, by phone, or online. Ruark says that Chase recently announced that it is launching a digital mortgage platform later this year that will allow customers to track the process of their loan and interact with a mortgage banker or realtor online in real-time. No more waiting on the phone.

Fans of the HGTV® series Property Brothers® will be interested to know that Chase recently announced that it is partnering with Drew and Jonathan Scott, the show’s stars, to help consumers across the country with their home financing needs, from finding and buying a home to making improvements. The collaboration extends through 2017. Look for commercials, starring the brothers and real Chase home lending advisors, on the HGTV and DIY Network television networks in May.
